Fonkoze USA strengthens capacity to better accompany Fonkoze and member-clients into the future

pressrelease2Fonkoze USA played an important role in walking alongside Fonkoze staff and member-clients during the past six months. We are here to educate and connect donors to the programs and activities of Fonkoze. Together, we lift up the important story of Haiti's heroes. In the past six months, Fonkoze USA has:

Raised over $2 million for earthquake recovery and rehabilitation to support Fonkoze programs above, especially infrastructure restoration and staff/client recovery. Fonkoze USA provides U.S. donors with tax-exemption for their donations, along with due diligence and reporting. 94% of every dollar raised was sent to Haiti.

Supported numerous local efforts on behalf of Fonkoze. Communities throughout the U.S., Canada, and the world rallied behind Fonkoze, and Fonkoze USA was there to assist local initiatives in their successful efforts. Our gratitude goes out to each of you, and every dollar continues to make a difference no matter what size.

Fonkoze USA served as the voice of Fonkoze. Along with our local supporters, we spread the word about Fonkoze's role in the economic future of Haiti. Documentary producer Rob Rooy donated time and talent to produce 14 post-earthquake video "shorts" of staff and member-clients. Click here to view.
