Fonkoze is a Haitian foundation that supports the organized poor,
providing them with essential banking services throughout the country
and assisting borrowers with literacy, business training and health
education.
Fonkoze USA is the American nonprofit that assists Fonkoze in its critical
work. Both Fonkoze and Fonkoze USA are committed to the economic and
social improvement of the people and communities of Haiti and to the
reduction of poverty in the country.
Both organizations are non-political and take no official positions
on any aspect of the Haitian political situation.
Although Board directors, staff and clients may express such opinions,
they do not ever express these on behalf of Fonkoze or Fonkoze USA.
